“Las Lágrimas Secas de los Andes”
[The Dry Tears of the Andes]

I no longer remember who or where I heard this phrase, but its poetry to refer to the salt flats of the Andean highlands was recorded. I like to think about the idea that the saline cry of the Mountain Range has the power to corrode or, rather, to restore the copper extracted from its slopes to its natural beauty.
